Before & After

Originally posted on August 9, 2011

The client wanted us to create an image that gives the feel of working the over night shift.  The photograph was created at 11AM  in a print shop just outside Boston, using 3  Nikon Speedlights with Pocket Wizard Flex TT5s,  a Pocket Wizard  Mini  TT1 & AC3 , a 4th Nikon SB-900 was set on SU-4.  A Rosco blue gel was used to create the background color.  To control and direct the light I used Rosco Cinefoil, Tough Spun and 2 Rogue 3 in 1 Grids and a Rogue FlashBender.  The set up time was under 10 minutes.

Want to learn how to create cool images with Speedlights?  Sigh up for one of my Location Lighting Workshops.    Next stop on the “Location Lighting Workshop Tour”  is at Calumet Philadelphia on August 22 &23.
